St. Augustine's Church

St Augustine's School is a living, celebrating Catholic Community which is Christ centred. Our catholic life is characterised by our mission statement 'we come to school to live and learn happily together by loving ourselves and each other as Jesus teaches us to' which radiates throughout our school. Our parish priest Father Julian Davies pays regular visits to our school and encourages the children through prayer, class and whole school Mass, Worship, Liturgy and Reconciliation to develop a greater understanding of their role in the world. For further information about St. Augustine's Parish Church you can visit the webiste at: www.parish.rcdow.org.uk/hoddesdon/

Parish Links

The most local Catholic Church that serves our school is the Catholic Church of St. Augustine in Hoddesdon. Here children regularly attend mass with the local community every Wednesday, as well as celebrating Mass with our St. Francis of Assisi Academy Trust on occasions. Our school holds our annual Carol Service in Church each year. Our local priest, Father Julian, provides a vital link between our school and our parish by visiting different classes on a Tuesday, as well as providing Reconciliation and Mass services throughout the academic year.
