SMSC Calendar

A love for learning is central to life at St Augustine‚Äôs Catholic Primary School, it forms a core belief in all we do.  As well as the desire for academic rigour and excellence there is also a desire to promote pupils spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.  Across all year groups there is a strong desire to ensure that we produce citizens that lead, engage and interact with their community.

This preparation for life falls into four key areas and as a result of carefully planned curriculum and enrichment opportunities our pupils are able to demonstrate how their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is progressing and how well they demonstrate their self-esteem and confidence.

By following events on our SMSC Calendar you are invited to help develop the amazing talents of our pupils and also recognise how the learning opportunities complement the academic success enjoyed by our whole school community!

Please take a look at this years events below.

Remote Events

Despite remote learning during lockdown resulting in our staff and children not being able to celebrate our SMSC calendar together, we still ensured each event was celebrated remotely in order to keep everything as normal as it possibly could.
