‘We come to school to live and learn happily together by loving ourselves and each other as Jesus teaches us’

St.Augustine's School Board of Governors

Dear St Augustine’s Community,

Welcome to the Governors page!

St Augustine’s Catholic school is an integral part of the Parish community and we pride ourselves with warmly welcoming pupils, parents, staff and visitors in to our school.

The Board of Governors are an experienced and committed team who are tasked with providing the strategic vision for the improvement and development for the school, whilst keeping the ethos of the Catholic faith very much at the forefront of learning.

Governors work collaboratively with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership team to ensure our pupils receive the very best education through the monitoring of their progress against the aims and objectives set by the Board of Governors.

Governors are linked to particular areas of interest, this may be a curriculum subject, administration or Finance.  It is the responsibility of the Governor to visit the school and submit a report on their visit.

The Governors are accountable to the school community for the performance of the school.

You can contact the Governors direct by emailing schoolgovernor@staugustines.herts.sch.uk

Kind regards,

Adam Tackley – Chair of Governors.
