Year 5 - Mrs McGuffog

Class Saint: Saint Cecilia

Our RE topic this half term is ' From Advent to Christmas'.

Our focus questions that we have been thinking about are:

‘How does belief that Jesus was God in human form change the celebration of Christmas?

To celebrate Advent, we will thoughtfully consider the nativity story as it is told in Matthew’s gospel and consider what he wants us to learn from the characters involved.

Home Learning:

How are you remembering and preparing for Jesus' birth? How are you celebrating God sending his son to us? How does the story of Jesus' birth help with your faith? What do we do as Catholics as a result of this story?
