Can we have an explanation of how the tour will be conducted?

Our wondeful Year 6 children will take you on a tour of our school.

Masks wearing is personal choice and not mandatory.

After the tour, you will be shown to our school hall where you will meet Mrs Napier, our Headteacher, and Mrs Blackwell, our Early Years Lead,  who will tell you more about the school and answer any questions you may have.

If you are shown around when there is no planned tour, it will be with Mrs Napier or a member of the Leadership Team.

Does my child have to be Catholic to attend St. Augustine’s?

NO.

Although we are a Catholic school and Catholic children are given priority in applications, we accept children of all faiths and none.

If you want your child to attend St. Augustine’s we recommend that you put our school as number one priority on the Hertfordshire Admissions.

Yes.

Catholic schools are obliged to follow guidance from the Catholic Bishops' Conference which states that Religious Education must provide pupils with a basis of knowledge and theological understanding of the Catholic faith and an awareness of the faith and traditions of other religions in order to respect and understand them.

Our children also visit other places of worship.
